Our services
Pacific Scuba Divers offers guided fun dives, PADI courses from Try Scuba through Advanced and specialties, refresher dives, private guiding and gear rental, based in San Salvador, El Salvador. Our main dive site is Lake Ilopango, with Pacific reef and wreck trips to Los Cóbanos in season.
Certification and fitness to dive
Fun dives require a current Open Water certification or higher. If you are not certified, book a Try Scuba or Open Water course. You must be medically fit to dive. If any answer on the medical questionnaire requires a doctor's sign-off, you must be cleared before you dive.
Liability waiver required before diving
Every diver signs a liability release before diving. We email both the release and the medical questionnaire after you book so you can sign online.
Prices and payment
We accept cash, credit cards and bitcoin. A deposit holds your spot. The balance is due on the day of your dive or at the start of your course. See our Booking Policy for deposit amounts and refund terms.
Changes to trips
Conditions are our call. Your Divemaster decides on the day. If conditions are not right, we reschedule or refund. We would rather reschedule than gamble with your trip. If you need to change your date, see the cancellation terms in our Booking Policy.
